The Gingerbread Wrap made of Alpaca, Angora Rabbit and even Bamboo!

This fun little wrap is perfect for winter nights at home or even when going out for dinner.   Easy to make and wonderfully soft!!!  The name was inspired by my brother, that said it reminded him of gingerbread houses with icing. Enjoy!

Materials:

Yarn:

1200 yards fingering weight.  I used and recommend Long Island Yarn & Farm’s Alpaca/Bamboo/Wool blend.  Shown here is Rosewood, 60% Alpaca, 15% Bamboo, 25% wool.  All the way around the edge I added a set of holes to crochet the Angora Rabbit with YO and K2tog pattern.  The Angora is so bulky, this just makes it easy to single crochet into the edge and also gave an even cadence where to attach along the edge.

61 yards of Handspun Angora Rabbit.  Again, I recommend Long Island Yarn & Farm.

Needles:          4 US/3.5mm 37” circular knitting needles

                        10.0mm crochet hook
