Sean and Colleen Lacey have a delightful sheep farm in Carlisle, PA where they have yummy farm fresh wool from their Romney and Cormo sheep. Colleen hand dyes wool for rug hooking. Their daughter designs all the knitting pattern. Plus Sean is a wood carver and offers a tremendous number of birds, sheep and alpacas to decorate your home! They are also host to our first annual Farm to Needle Retreat April 2019!
Their sheep produce lovely yarn for knitting and crochet projects. Managed by Colleen and her daughter under name Distelfink. Distelfink Fiber Co. is a mother-daughter fiber company that was established after starting a small flock of Romney/Border Leicester sheep in 2013. They started hand-dyeing their own yarns when they wanted to bring to life some of their favorite colors on SW Merino and mill-spun yarn from their own flock.
